1. Agreement to these terms
BouncePost ("BouncePost," "we," "us") is an email service based in Arizona, USA. By creating an account or using BouncePost, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. What BouncePost is
BouncePost filters incoming mail and provides a web inbox for reading, sending, and organizing the mail it accepts. Unwanted mail can be rejected at the mail-server level rather than silently delivered to a junk folder. You may also connect mailboxes from other providers (such as Gmail) so you can read and send their mail within BouncePost.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use BouncePost. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
4. Your account and connected mailboxes
You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. When you connect another mailbox, you authorize BouncePost to access it on your behalf to provide the features you use, and you confirm you have the right to grant that access. You can disconnect a connected mailbox, or revoke access granted through "Sign in with Google," at any time.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use BouncePost to:
- break any law, or infringe anyone's rights;
- send spam, bulk unsolicited mail, or anything fraudulent or deceptive;
- distribute malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or account;
- harass, abuse, or harm others; or
- interfere with, overload, or disrupt the service or the networks it runs on.
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these rules.
6. About filtering — important
BouncePost classifies mail automatically, including with the help of AI. Automated filtering is not perfect: legitimate mail can occasionally be misclassified, and unwanted mail can occasionally get through.
We do not guarantee that any particular message will be delivered, accepted, or rejected, or that the service will catch all unwanted mail.
7. Third-party services
BouncePost relies on third-party providers — including Google (for connected Gmail accounts) and an AI provider (for message classification) — and on hosting infrastructure. Your use of connected third-party accounts is also governed by those providers' own terms. We're not responsible for third-party services we don't control.
8. Beta service ("as is")
BouncePost is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it during the beta.
9. Intellectual property
BouncePost and its branding, software, and content are owned by us or our licensors. Your email and the content you create remain yours — these terms don't transfer ownership of your mail to us. We access it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BouncePost and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost mail, or lost profits, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Termination
You may stop using BouncePost and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the service. On termination, we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide a more prominent notice. Continuing to use BouncePost after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
